How to fix selected File is Not a valid ISO file Error

We have most encountered this type of error when using Microsoft USB DVD tool. Microsoft USB tool work well on official ISO file of Window. when we select any other modified ISO this error occurred that"The selected file is not a valid ISO file. please select a valid ISO file and try again".

Fix This Error:

 Once we install, open the tool & from drop down we can select windows 7 or windows 8 installer. Depending on our need.


Another Method:-
  • plug in your pen drive into USb flash port.
  • To make a window bootdisk(windowsXP/7/8/8.1)
  • select NTFS as file system from the drop down.
  • Then click on the buttons look like DVD drive, checkbox says"Create bootable disk using:"
  • choose the ISO file
  • click start
  • Done!
